Francesca's approach is to focus on the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. While the physical symptoms are addressed, she tries to understand the root of the imbalance in addition to its greater meaning and purpose. She focuses on self-care and also employs nutritional counseling, essential oils, and Chinese herbal medicine.

Francesca has been working in the complementary alternative medicine field since 2000. She started as a financial manager at New York Columbia Presbyterian Department of Complementary Medicine, then discovered her passion for nutrition and Chinese medicine. She received her B.S. in Mathematics from MIT, certification at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and Masters of Acupuncture from the Swedish Institute. Francesca has been a long time student of classical Chinese Medicine with Jeffrey Yuen, 88th generation Taoist priest of the Jade Purity School.

Frank received his teacher certification in the Alexander Technique from Alexander Technique New York City (atnyc.us) and is certified to teach by the American Society for the Alexander Technique. Since graduating, Frank has continued as a volunteer instructor at ATNYC, and organizes seminars to further his understanding and skills as an Alexander Technique teacher.

The purpose of studying the Alexander Technique is to become aware of how postural habits affect our entire being. By learning to understand our postural habits, we can bring about change in all aspects of our lives.

Fred is a practitioner of Medical Qigong, a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine which promotes health and healing by freeing and balancing the flow of an individual’s physical, emotional and spiritual Qi or Life Force.

Research suggests that Qigong may be beneficial for asthma, arthritis, cardiovascular disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, headaches, pain, and a wide variety of common ailments. Qigong has been shown to be effective in the support of cancer patients’ overall quality of life, appetite, digestion, fatigue, immune system, mood and inflammation. From his own experience with melanoma, Fred is especially interested in the effects of energy work and cancer. His non-invasive qi sessions yield a profound sense of well-being that is in itself healing.

Fred has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law. He is admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York State.
