Our address is 275 Grove Street (near Montgomery), 3rd floor, in the Majestic Theatre building across from City Hall.

Yoga Shunya offers compassionate teaching with attention to healthy alignment. Our teachers have trained with John Friend, Richard Freeman, Rodney Yee, Shiva Rea, Dharma Mitra, and the Integral Yoga Institute of NYC. All classes include asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation. On-going classes are held seven days a week with additional workshops on a variety of topics. We are located in the newly renovated Majestic Theatre building conveniently located in historic downtown Jersey City. Our yoga studio is comfortable, light and spacious.

Here at the studio we provide yoga blankets, straps & blocks. We also sell quality yoga products. For your comfort try to not eat for 2-3 hours before class. Doors open 15 minutes before classes start. We accept check or cash payment. Sorry, no credit cards.
